An interesting Appalachian phenomenon is the number of car drivers who (presumably purposely) drive with only one working light. It has nothing to do with socioeconomic status, as I've seen old cars and new cars, big trucks and little trucks, SUVs, and Benz's drive monocular. One night I estimated 1 of 20 cars setting this new trend.
